Rolling Meadows, Il., July 17, 2017 – We are pleased to announce that VitaHEAT Medical®, LLC (“VitaHEAT®”) has officially expanded it’s sales distribution of the VitaHEAT® UB3 with the addition of Medline Industries, Inc. Expanding the distribution channels represents another successful strategic business advancement for VitaHEAT® and it’s presence in the healthcare market.
VitaHEAT Medical® has tested sales through various distribution channels on a limited basis and were highly successful. By expanding distribution of the VitaHEAT® UB3 through multiple channels, VitaHEAT® will be able to ensure the product is given full access to clinicians across the country. VitaHEAT® is poised well to continue to explore other avenues to bring the latest advancements in patient warming to the marketplace as quickly as possible and with the greatest success.
The VitaHEAT® UB3 system is an under-body patient warming system that uses conductive ink technology, featuring both battery and plug-in AC accessory options. The ability to easily warm patients throughout the perioperative experience is a key compotenent of keeping patients in normothermia. VitaHEAT® UB3 is engineered for safety, easy to use and portable. It is always on and can be used throughout all perioperative phases due to the AC and Battery design.
“Given the broad based market interest, we are excited to be enhancing our sales efforts through expansion of our distribution channels for the VitaHEAT® UB3 patient warming system. We are looking forward to continued success with Medline as part of our distribution. Together with all our partners, we are dedicated to providing VitaHEAT® UB3 to reduce health care costs and improve patient outcomes. This partnerships will help us more quickly bring this technology to hospitals and health care professionals,” said Peter Farmakis, CEO, VitaHEAT Medical.
VitaHEAT launched its VitaHEAT® UB3 patient warming system in April of 2016 following five years of product development. The system was designed under the FDA’s 21 CFR part 820 quality management system. It includes eight interactive temperature sensors to actively monitor temperature and six independent heating zones to provide consistent control of the warming surface. The system is the only patient warming solution that can warm throughout the entire perioperative journey due to its ability to run on AC and battery power.
